Pisum sativum

This crimson-yellow pea is the most popular soup pea in Holland, an open-pollinated heirloom variety that dates back to the 1600s. Growing on vines up to 36"-48", they need some amount of trellising to support them. Heavy producers with 5-8 peas to a pod, these pollinator-friendly peas are nitrogen-boosters for your soil.
